Invitation Time-line

6 to 8 months prior…

  • Browse through the many styles of invitations available. All Nedrebo’s locations carry invitation, program, and wedding accessory books by established wedding stationery companies.
  • Select and order Save the Date cards.

6 months prior…

  • Ask your consultant for an invitation worksheet to organize your ideas.
  • Select an invitation style, typestyle, ink color, and envelope lining. Remember to select reception cards, response cards, and thank you’s to match.
  • Finalize the number of invitations needed, allowing for 25 extra for keepsakes and last minute additions.
  • Finalize your invitation wording, confirming correct times, addresses, and spellings.
  • Send Save the Date cards

4 months prior…

  • Schedule an appointment with your consultant to place your invitation order. Wedding accessories, bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts can be ordered at this time.
  • Select wedding accessories such as napkins, decorations and personalized favors for your guests.

2 months prior…

  • Select a program style and type program wording on a word processor prior to ordering.
  • Schedule an appointment with your consultant to order programs, attendants’ gifts, unity candle, favors, place cards, and decorations.
